Makena Handrail
We reconstructed the staircase layout in the shop in order to build this handrail. The wreath section of the handrail was made of multiple layer of steam bent Santos Mahagony then glued to form and hand shaped to its final dimensions.

Maui Walnut Staircase
This was one of our more challenging architectural pieces to date. Notice the cable balestrade system and how it is captured between the layers of wood, then add twists and curves to the mix and things get wild. It was a very fun piece to have the fortune of being commisioned to make.

Carved Red Cedar Posts
These carvings accompanied the "Maui Walnut Staircase" It was a lot of fun to do carvings on this scale. The raw yet refined flowing patterns reminded us of natures wonderful forms found in the flames of a fire or currents in a stream. Another piece we felt very fortunate to be commisioned to make.

This piece is made from all solid poplar wood a sustainably farmed american wood.

Custom Ipe Pool Hale
This pool hale roof is an actual grass roof made from Alang Alang grass from Bali. It was a new experience for us to work with.
